Jigging with wire line and Hairball jigs or trolling with tube and worm in and around Vineyard Sound are the two most common methods we employ during May and June for catching large numbers of stripers. As the water warms, if a true trophy bass is your goal, we will head towards Gay Head, Nomans or Cuttyhunk, anchor up and chunk with fresh bunker. All three methods will produce and you will be amazed with the size and numbers of fish you catch!
